Apoorva and Sanjay’s Beautiful Indian Engagement Party

On September 7th, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing Apoorva and Sanjay’s Indian engagement party at the Hindi Temple of Minnesota. Bree and Amanda were behind the lens for this stunning event, capturing all the love and joy of the day. The celebration started outside the temple, where they photographed the lovely couple against the backdrop of the temple’s architecture. Apoorva and Sanjay were radiant, and their chemistry was palpable as they posed effortlessly.

Family Photos and Pooja Ceremony

Following the couple’s portraits, it was time to include family members in the photos. Apoorva and Sanjay’s families were SO warm and welcoming, that it was a joy to capture their connections. After the family photos, the indian engagement party officially began with the Pooja, a beautiful spiritual ritual that symbolizes blessings and the start of this new chapter for the couple. The Pooja was a heartfelt and intimate moment, filled with prayer, blessings, and love.

Reception Outfit Change and New Venue

By noon, the couple made a quick outfit-change and transitioned into their reception attire. The event also shifted to a new venue for the reception, which was full of even more celebrations. Apoorva looked stunning with hair and makeup done by Srizna (@makeupwithcna on Instagram), and Sanjay complemented her perfectly. Their reception was filled with smiles, laughter, and even more gorgeous moments for us to capture.
