I'm Mycah!

I have been a photographer since 2010 and the owner of Mycah Bain Photography. When I'm not taking photos, I love traveling the world, designing and decorating my home, living the auntie life, running, yoga, reading, kombucha, trying new delicious foods, and happy hour with my besties.

Two years ago, I didn’t even know who Callan Faulkner was, or what Claude or A2A stood for. Then I picked up my camera to photograph Callan Faulkner. That one shoot turned into a front row seat to an entire community of women building AI-first businesses. Here’s a spotlight on the women I met along the way, through Callan Faulkner’s Automate to Accelerate program.

How I Found Myself in the AI World of A2A

It started with her Minneapolis brand photoshoot. Callan wanted brand photos that matched who she actually is. A trusted AI strategist who’s also warm, funny, and easy to be around. I didn’t know much about AI going into that shoot. I left curious.

That curiosity turned into something bigger. I signed up for Automate to Accelerate myself, Callan’s 12-week program for building AI into the way you actually work. I expected to learn a few prompts. Instead I came out with real systems, plus a group of women I now consider part of my circle.

That’s the part nobody tells you about a program like this. You show up for the AI. You end up staying for the people. Over the past several months, I’ve had the chance to photograph some of the women I met through A2A. Each session became its own kind of introduction, both to their businesses and to what they’re building.

Meg Jackson, One Peak Creative

Meg Jackson co-founded One Peak Creative, an education hub for creators and marketers. The company has taught over 160,000 students how to make content that actually gets watched. Meg and her team built that reputation on viral video ads and short-form strategy. What started as a small production agency became a business that teaches people how to find their format.

Meg brings that same energy into a room that she brings to a camera. During her brand photography session, it was obvious why her audience trusts her advice on hooks and video strategy. She practices what she teaches.

Sarah Weaver, Real Estate Investing Coach

Sarah Weaver has been a friend of mine outside of A2A. Meeting her again through this community felt like a full circle moment. She’s a real estate investor and coach who went from three units to fifteen in ninety days. Now she runs a mentorship program helping other investors do the same. She also built Invested Adventures, which hosts retreats for investors around the world, from Patagonia to Tanzania.

Her brand photoshoot captured exactly that duality. She’s deeply credible in the investing world, and genuinely fun to be around. Disco ball included.

Kristen Parise, Blueberry Therapy

Kristen and I met earlier this year at a retreat co-hosted by Nicole Tormey and Maggie Hilpish in Costa Rica. Kristen Parise founded Blueberry Therapy in 2017. Over twenty five years as a physiotherapist, she built a clinic that specializes in pelvic health and pediatric therapy. Her team’s approach to care earned her the YWCA Women of Distinction Award. She has since grown the clinic’s reach through education and community events for women’s health.

Her brand photography feature shows the same warmth she’s known for in the clinic. She’s approachable, confident, and genuinely present with the people she works with.

Tatiana Budney, Not Another Email

Tatiana Budney has spent over a decade building and monetizing newsletters. That includes her own list and the newsletters behind six and seven figure brands. She’s grown subscriber lists past 750,000. Now she teaches creators and business owners how to build email systems that actually convert. That work lives in her newsletter Not Another Email and her membership Inbox by Design.

Since joining A2A, Tatiana has folded AI into that same expertise. She now runs a second newsletter, Future AI: Unfiltered. It covers what’s actually useful in AI and tech right now, not just what’s trending. Meeting her through this community meant meeting someone who thinks about systems the way I do. Not as a shortcut, but as the thing that gives you your time back.

Ready to Book?

If this post did anything, I hope it showed you what happens when the right community finds you. These are the kinds of women I want more of in my orbit, and my camera. If you’re a business owner ready for brand photos that actually look like you, let’s talk. I’d love to hear your story and figure out how to tell it in pictures.

Also, if you want to learn more about AI, there’s no one I would recommend more than Callan and her team at The Uncommon Business. Here’s my affiliate link that I wholeheartedly believe in. It has absolutely changed my business and my life and given me so much freedom and creative clarity. By far the best investment I’ve made in my business in years!!
