If you coach real estate investors for a living, your face is your funnel. People do not join a mentorship because of a logo. They join because they look at your photos and think, “she’s done this, and she can get me there too.” That is exactly the brief Sarah Weaver brought us. She wrote the book on medium-term rental investing, literally, and runs a nationwide mentorship for investors who are done consuming content and ready to buy. Her old photos did not match where her business had gone. Here is what we built instead, and what it can look like for your coaching brand.
Brand Photography for Transformational Coaches

What Brand Photography for Real Estate Coaches Actually Needs to Do
Coaching photography is not the same job as a headshot. A headshot answers “who is this person.” Brand photography for a coach has to answer a harder question: “can I trust this person with my money and my time?”
For Sarah, that meant photos that could carry weight across a lot of different jobs at once. A webinar landing page needs a shot that says expert. A mentorship sales page needs a shot that says approachable. Her Instagram grid needs shots that feel like her, not like stock photography with her face pasted on. One session, five different jobs. That is the standard we shoot to for every coaching client, not just the highlight reel.

Photographing an Investor Who Has Actually Done the Thing
Sarah’s whole positioning is that she is not a course creator teaching from slides, she is an operator teaching from her own portfolio. Twenty units, three states, a published book with BiggerPockets, and hundreds of investors walked from their first deal to their fifth. That kind of credibility is easy to say and hard to photograph.

So we built the session around proof, not props. We photographed her with her book, “30-Day Stay,” not as a staged prop but as a genuine callback to the work she has already put in the world. We styled the session to feel like a real operator’s world, not a generic “girlboss in a blazer” set. The goal was never to make Sarah look like a photographer’s idea of a coach. It was to make her look like herself, at the level her business has actually reached.

The Real Reason Coaches Wait Too Long to Update Their Photos
Most coaches do not update their brand photography because the business grew faster than their sense of what it deserved. Sarah’s business had scaled past three companies and a national mentorship, but her photos were still doing the job of an earlier, smaller version of her brand.
How to Know You’re Ready for a Brand Refresh

This is the pattern we see across nearly every coaching client. The business outgrows the photos long before the founder notices. And every day those old photos stay live, they are quietly underselling what the coach actually delivers. If your last brand photos were taken before your last big launch, your last book, or your last major client win, they are already out of date, whether you have clocked it yet or not.

Why Minneapolis Coaches and Mentors Choose a Local Studio Team
Sarah’s mentorship serves investors across the country, and her Instagram audience is national. But the session itself happened here, in Minneapolis, with a team who understands what a coaching brand needs before the shoot even starts: multiple looks, a mix of studio and lifestyle setups, and images built to be cropped, cut, and reused across a launch calendar for months.

Working locally does not limit a national brand. It gives it a production team who can move fast, communicate in person, and deliver a full library in days instead of weeks. For coaches building a brand that has to work as hard as Sarah’s does, that turnaround matters as much as the photos themselves.

Ready to Book?
If your coaching or mentorship brand has outgrown your current photos, you already know it. Working with us looks like one focused session, a full library of studio and lifestyle images built to cover a year of content, and a team who understands that your photos have to sell trust, not just look nice.
