What Is a Senior Rep Team? Join the Class of 2028 in Minneapolis

The senior rep team Minneapolis seniors can apply for right now is our Class of 2028 Senior Rep Team. It’s a year-long group of students who build a personal brand, take photos they actually want to post, and experience senior year together. It is not a modeling gig. Students from Minneapolis and the Twin Cities area apply, and spots are limited at each school. Applications close November 15.

What Is a Senior Rep Team?

A senior rep team is a group of high school seniors who represent a photographer or studio during their senior year. Reps share their photos and events on social media, bring friends into the experience, and help other students discover the studio.

At Mycah Bain Photography, we photograph seniors across Minneapolis and the Twin Cities. Our rep team runs from a Welcome Party in early winter 2026 through grad photos in May 2028. You get a full senior year experience with students from other schools, not a single photo session.

Senior Rep Team Minneapolis: What You Get

Reps on the Class of 2028 team get:

• A personal senior photo experience, including a free individual senior session in summer 2027
• Five group senior rep shoots
• A senior rep party
• Training in building your personal brand
• Connections with students from other schools
• A Welcome Party where parents are invited
• Two to three friends at the Main Character Summer shoot
• A discount on your own session for each referral who books with your name

Because the photos are built into the year, you are not booking a one-off session. You are building a body of photos to post all year.

What Senior Reps Actually Do

Reps post once a month on TikTok or Instagram from January 2027 through May 2028. Your content can be get-ready-with-me videos, group photos, individual photos, or footage from events. We provide content and help with captions, graphics, and inspiration, so you never start from a blank screen.

Reps also spread the word. When someone books a session and names you, you earn a discount on your own session. Parents can refer, too.

A quick tip for any student who posts about a business: when a business gives you a perk, the FTC’s guidance on disclosing material connections says to make that connection clear. A simple note in your caption does the job.

Who We Are Looking For

We choose reps based on energy and character, not follower count. You do not need a big following. You do need to enjoy being on camera, bring energy to a room, and feel excited to share your senior year.

The Class of 2028 Senior Rep Timeline

• Early winter 2026: Welcome Party. Meet the crew, create video content, and get a handoff from the Class of 2027 team.
• May 2027: Welcome Shoot, the first group shoot.
• Early June 2027: Main Character Summer shoot, with friends invited.
• Summer 2027: Your individual senior photo session.
• September 2027: Fall Shoot, with golden hour and sweater weather themes.
• January and February 2028: Passing the Torch, when you welcome the Class of 2029 team.
• May 2028: Grad photos, including cap, gown, and send-off.

How to Apply for the Senior Rep Team

Apply first. If you are accepted, we send next steps to reserve your spot. Applications close November 15, and each school has limited spots, so apply early.
