Some brand shoots are beautiful. Others are unforgettable.
This one was both.
When Dr. Lauryn walked into the studio for her session with Minneapolis Luxury Brand Photographer Mycah Bain, we knew the day was going to be electric. She’s not just a chiropractor or a business coach—she’s a woman who owns her power, her humor, and her voice. And that’s exactly what we wanted this session to capture: a luxurious, editorial experience that felt alive.
In this post, you’ll see how we transformed a Minneapolis studio into a high-end creative playground—and how this approach to luxury brand photography helps entrepreneurs and coaches create visuals that actually connect.

Meet Dr. Lauryn: Chiropractor, Coach, and Powerhouse Brand
Dr. Lauryn is the founder of She Slays the Day, where she helps women in healthcare and business reclaim their power and lead with purpose.
Her brand is rooted in impact and authenticity—real laughter, real confidence, real leadership. As she told us during her consultation, “I wanted photos that feel like me on my best day—powerful, grounded, but still laughing.” That became our creative compass for the session.
You can see her presence on Instagram, but our goal was to translate that digital charisma into timeless imagery.

The Vision: Editorial and Playful Luxury Brand Photography in Minneapolis
We spent the day at Studio One Minneapolis, crafting a gallery that felt bold, expressive, and cinematic. Every set told a new story.
There was the bathtub scene—an orange tulle robe, a box of Wheaties, and the kind of joy that can’t be staged. Then came the crisp white suit, Coke in hand, exuding effortless confidence.
Each concept mixed movement, warmth, and texture. This was luxury brand photography reimagined: not stiff or overly polished, but alive with laughter and personality.

Creative Direction with Purpose
Our Creative Director, Amanda, guided every detail—from lighting direction to the flow of scenes. Together, we worked alongside Lauryn’s husband and business partner, Kirby, who joined for part of the session. Their connection brought another layer of authenticity to the day.
We laughed, improvised, and built each concept around real emotion. Every pose and prop was intentional—a mirror of her work as a mentor, leader, and creative thinker.
When you look at the final gallery, it’s not just a brand shoot. It’s storytelling in motion.

Luxury Brand Photography, Redefined in Minneapolis
Luxury often gets mistaken for perfection. But real luxury is freedom—the confidence to be seen exactly as you are.
This session was vibrant, expressive, and a little chaotic in the best way.
Each photo reminds us that modern luxury isn’t about polish; it’s about presence. That’s the philosophy that drives the team’s work as a Minneapolis Luxury Brand Photographer—capturing success with soul.

How to Create a Luxury Brand Shoot That Feels Like You
If you’re planning your own brand photoshoot, here’s what we learned from this day with Dr. Lauryn:
- Think like a brand, not a person. Your visuals should communicate your story—your colors, values, and voice.
- Lean into what makes you different. The quirks and humor that make your brand human are what people remember.
- Collaborate deeply. The best photos happen when you trust your creative team and allow real emotion to come through.
