The Perfect 21st of September Wedding

Annelise and Jack’s The Whim Wedding was nothing short of magical. It was even more special as it fell on September 21st, a nod to the famous Earth, Wind & Fire song! Annelise even had the lyrics “Do you remember, the 21st night of September?” embroidered on her robe as she prepared for the day. This sweet touch set the tone for a celebration filled with love, music, and unforgettable moments.

Getting Ready for The Big Day

The day began with hair and makeup vendors arriving at Annelise’s family home at 8:15 AM. Annelise and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting pampered by talented makeup artist Jesus Arte and hairstylist Lauren Styles. Meanwhile, the gentlemen gathered at the AC Hotel, preparing for the festivities in dapper attire from Heimie’s Haberdashery. We arrived at noon to capture candid moments of the ladies as they prepared at Annelise’s home, before heading to The Whim for the final touches.

A Beautiful First Look

At 2 PM, Annelise slipped into her stunning Alena Leena Bridal gown from Alice in Ivory Bridal. Bella was assisting with the finishing touches. One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was Annelise’s first look with her father, Chris. Following this, Annelise and Jack shared their private first look. This was such an intimate and emotional moment that perfectly captured their love and excitement.

Wedding Photos and Ceremony at The Whim

The Whim, expertly coordinated by Nou Social Events, was the perfect backdrop for the wedding party photos, family portraits, and the stunning ceremony, with breathtaking floral arrangements by Sadie’s Floral. As the ceremony began at 5 PM, guests watched with tears in their eyes as Annelise and Jack exchanged vows. Afterward, they signed their marriage license, marking the beginning of their life as husband and wife.

Sunset Photos and a Night to Remember

Following the ceremony, Annelise and Jack snuck away for dreamy sunset photos. We made sure to photograph them with the golden light and joy of their day. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, a delicious dinner catered by D’Amico and Sons, and the glow of love on the dance floor. The Silver Alchemist Music band kept the energy high as guests danced the night away. Glow sticks that came out at 9 PM made for a fun, vibrant end to the night.
